Upgrade to ISO 9001:2015

Following a project to transition to the new version of the standard, Conidia Bioscience were awarded the ISO certification by leading Certification Body LRQA. Supported by specialist ISO Consultants Spedan Ltd, the management team worked hard on the design and implementation of the systems to ensure that the new system was practical and efficient, as well as meeting the rigour required for the ISO standard.

Joan Kelley, Technical Director for the Egham based business said

"At Conidia Bioscience we found the process of transition from ISO9001:2008 to the new 2015 version very simple and quite straightforward. We received great support from our consultants Spedan Ltd, who took us logically and thoroughly through the transition and audit"

Conidia Bioscience develop, manufacture and sell fuel tests into aviation, marine and land diesel sectors. The suite of test kits detect microbiological contamination using a fast, easy to use platform that gives results in minutes. Joan was impressed with the flexibility and benefits of the ISO 9001 quality management system they are now using

"As SME early adopters of the revised Standard, we believe ISO9001:2015 provides us with additional and positive insights into our business, to us the new standard is less formulaic and better supports good business practice; it gives us an essential quality platform to grow our business.
