Oxfordshire based Hydac transition to ISO 14001
Hydac Technology gain ISO 14001
Specialist ISO Consultancy Spedan Ltd supported Hydac Technology Ltd in their successful transition to the 2015 version of the ISO 14001 Environmental Management standard.
Hydac Technology, who has UK Headquarters at Witney, Oxfordshire, Hydac Ltd was established back in 1976 and is a subsidiary of Hydac Group. They manufacture and distribute a range of hydraulic / electronic and electrohydraulic solutions to global brand clients, and have seen successful consistent growth over the years. Their products and solutions include, Filtration, Cooler and Cooling Systems, Control Technology, Fluid Engineering, Lubrication and Hydraulic solutions. Hydac Technology Ltd have in house design and testing capability for bespoke manufacture.
Hydac successfully completed the audit of thier environmental management system audit, which was carried out by Lloyds Register. Alister Constantine, Director at Spedan Ltd, worked with the Management and SHEQ team to ensure that the EMS is thorough yet practical for the needs of the business going forward, while meeting the requirements of the standard.
Quality Manager Stuart Gardner said ,

Our ISO consultancy Spedan Ltd, explained and worked with us each step of the way from considering our business context to revising and updating our Environmental Management manual against the background of a consistent approach with our other ISO Standards.”
In addition to their environmental management commitments, Hydac’s quality commitments and credentials are supported by the Quality ISO 9001:2015 standard.
Stuart went on to say that;
