Successful transition to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001
Congratulations to Send and Receive Ltd, who have successfully transitioned to both the new ISO 9001:2015 and ISO14001:2015 Standards. The Milton Keynes based company passed their audit by Intertek last week. Specialist ISO Consultants Spedan Ltd worked with the directors and management team to ensure that the new system and ISO quality management system structure was effectively and practically applied to the business.
Gregg Giddings, Director at Send and Receive said,
"We found the process of transition very straightforward. We received great support from our consultants Spedan Ltd, who took us through the key changes step by step, from considering our business context, our external and internal issues and the risks and opportunities to our business. We then collaborated on updating our Manual and successfully passing the audit.”
Send and Receive Ltd are specialists in data management and profiling, print management, direct mail and domestic and international postage. Project management, small volume mailing campaigns, daily fulfilment and returns services are handled from Haversham. Further fulfilment business is delivered directly to customers by managing and co-ordinating external suppliers. Close customer relations and industry knowledge are key to the successful growth of this young company.
Gregg also commented that
“We want to be seen to as an industry leading business and be the best we can. Therefore, although we already had 9001 and 14001, we were keen to demonstrate our commitment to external standards by transitioning to the 2015 versions as soon as possible. It is also logical to do so as the structures of the ISO standards become harmonised. We now operate to the latest versions of ISO9001 and ISO14001, which adds to our suite of standards, having achieved ISO27001 for Information Security back in January.”

Adam has been working on Quality and Environmental management systems for most of his career in small, medium and corporate organisations. A keen advocate of the ISO approach as a platform for improvement, Adam ensures that systems are practical and useful for Managers and Staff to use.
Following a number of years working on software development projects, Adam has diversified into Information Security and Business Continuity management. Keen to formalise his industry experience, he is currently undertaking a Diploma in Business Continuity Management at Buckingham University.
Adam has a PhD from Cranfield University and now supports the MSc Environmental Management programmes through the advisory panel and visiting lectures.
